Hello there!
I pretty much screwed up – but I am proud.
Why?
Because I did it.
I am in a Mastermind group and in our Monday 10 am accountability group…Frankly, everyone should be – but more about that later.
In that group, I stated that I had been scared to death to do a FB Live video.
I don’t know why.
I love doing videos – but something about FB Live freaked me out.
But I swallowed hard and promised to do one.
That day. Monday.
I kept putting it off…. and off….and things came up….
And then it got dark and the lighting was crummy. I forgot about daylight savings time.
Dang it – and my Tuesday was booked solid.
I went to bed cranky and woke up crankier…apparently, I snored like a semi-truck all night too. (SO sorry Paul.)
Then this 10 min window of opportunity opened up.
Again I swallowed hard…and pushed “Go.”
Hooray! I did it!
I was feeling pretty good about myself until I saw what had happened.
Oh My Gosh! I couldn’t believe it.
What a classic dork mistake.
I started beating myself up.
I was all ready to delete it.
Then I remembered these 5 things:
- I had promised to do it.
- I don’t break my word.
- The message can change a life. It is that important
- I had no other time to do it.
- Done beats perfect every time.
So I left it out there.
I challenge YOU to embrace mistakes.
