Not long ago, a store owner named Linda shared something in our community that hit me right in the heart:

2. Growth Doesn’t Require More Hustle, It Requires Less Resistance

The next shift is a big one: 

You don’t have to push your business to grow. You have to unblock it so it can naturally flow into the next level.

I shared this story recently, my 1920s bathroom faucet slowed to a trickle. Not because the water stopped, but because the screen inside got clogged with tiny rocks. Once I cleared the blockage? Water flowed easily again.

Your business works the same way. If profit and cash flow feel stuck, it’s not always because you’re not doing enough. It’s often because something’s in the way like outdated pricing, sluggish systems, or a mindset stuck in “do more” mode.

3. Flip the Formula: Sales – Profit = Expenses

If profit and cash flow are tight, it’s time for a new structure. The traditional formula of sales – expenses = profit? It’s broken.

Instead, flip it:
Sales – Profit = Expenses.
This puts profit first, not last. And that shift? It changes everything.
